About

I am a Graduate of Johnston Community College. I received my Associates of Applied Science in Advertising and Graphic Design. As a student at JCC we focused on the print side of design.

We specialized in the unique qualities of printing and its unique necessity. Everybody needs print design. Being that most designers have to get into print we are better accustomed to its peculiarities like CMYK printing and High Resolution images. I choose to continue learning about processes, theories, elements, and  general history of Graphic Design.

I enjoy reading magazines. My introduction to graphic design through a suggestion of my mother, I had a tough time when I began college, she thought i would fit better in the ART department. I switched majors and realized my first introduction to art came through magazines, cutting out images of rap stars and placing them where I felt would look the best on my wall. I had no idea I’d be designing I was doing a giant (paste-up) layout of imagery. Today it makes sense. I have found a vocation and I wish to stay in this field of practice.
